About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity to come and join Bury Council as Brokerage Manager. You will be responsible for the leadership and management of a high performing Brokerage Team, developing and growing the service to deliver a highly effective Brokerage function for the whole of Health and Adult Social Care.
The Brokerage Team have recently joined Adults Community Commissioning and as the Brokerage Manager, you will provide strategic oversight and direction, expert guidance, and drive its development, growing the support offer and delivering a best in class service.
You will line manage a Brokerage Supervisor and lead a team of Brokerage Officers. Your role will be pivotal in shaping service delivery, developing guidance, and maintaining strong partnerships with key stakeholders, including Community Commissioning, Care Providers, Social Care Staff, Intermediate Care Services and Health and Acute colleagues.
You will also manage data reporting and quality assurance, and this role provides a real chance to shape a function to deliver a high quality service .
About You
We are seeking an accomplished person with experience of Brokerage services, management, a strong knowledge of relevant legislation, and a passion for leadership and development. We are looking for a Brokerage manager with the empathy and drive to make a difference, who will support in identifying creative ways to grown and improve the service to meet the needs of the entire department.
