Role: Workplace Experience Manager

Location: Croydon

We are working with a leading facilities management company in recruiting for a Workplace Experience Manager. Within this role you will oversee the delivery of next-generation facilities services across a group of public sector buildings.

You will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of workplace services and leading integrated facilities teams and suppliers to ensure exceptional service delivery

Your role will focus on maintaining legal, statutory, and contractual compliance, while fostering a culture of high-quality customer experience. You will actively develop collaborative relationships with building occupants, service partners, and internal stakeholders to promote operational excellence and community engagement

Key Responsibilities:

* Act as the main point of contact for assigned sites, building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders while promoting collaborative working practices
* Lead and motivate on-site teams and service partners to ensure high-quality delivery of all facilities services, meeting SLAs and performance targets
* Manage planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring compliance, up-to-date documentation, and accurate asset reporting
* Ensure statutory, health, safety, and environmental compliance across all operations
* Support long-term planning through asset condition reviews and lifecycle maintenance strategies
* Contribute to social value initiatives and collaborate with peers to share best practices and drive service improvements

Person Specification:

* The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities management, including the delivery of multi-service FM contracts and team leadership.
* You should be confident in managing people, maintaining high standards, and fostering a positive work culture.
* A proven track record of building productive relationships with clients, colleagues, and suppliers is essential

Essential Attributes and Experience:

* Proven experience in facilities management, service delivery, and leading teams in complex or multi-site environments
* Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective, trust-based relationships at all levels
* Customer-focused, adaptable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail, capable of managing multiple priorities and solving problems proactively
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with CAFM systems (preferably Maximo)
* Knowledge of health and safety standards, ideally holding IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent certification
