The Role: What you’ll be doing As an Audit Semi Senior, you’ll support the delivery of audit assignments and take ownership of key areas as your experience grows. Responsibilities will include: Assisting with audit planning and fieldwork across a range of clients Preparing audit working papers and documenting findings clearly Testing controls and substantive testing across key audit areas Supporting the preparation of accounts and audit completion files Liaising with clients professionally during on-site visits and remotely Working closely with Audit Seniors/Managers to meet deadlines and quality standards Developing your technical knowledge and progressing towards leading smaller audits What our client is looking for You’ll typically have: 2 years’ UK accountancy practice experience with audit exposure Part-qualified ACCA (or ACA part-qualified also considered) Practical experience of audit fieldwork and producing working papers Understanding of UK auditing standards and compliance requirements Strong Excel skills and confidence working with accounts/audit software Good communication skills and a professional approach with clients A genuine interest in progressing into an Audit Senior role Location & working arrangements Sheffield (office-based with client site visits as required) Flexibility will be discussed during the process, with a focus on supporting team collaboration and audit delivery.
