As a Sales Operations Analyst at Travelport, you will play a vital role in designing, building, implementing, and supporting an efficient sales process, systems, and tools to support the sales team and the wider business in achieving their objectives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize sales performance, streamline workflows, and enhance the overall sales infrastructure. This position requires a strong understanding of sales operations, process design and technological solutions within a sales environment. The ideal candidate would enjoy problem-solving, have a keen understanding of sales processes, have an interest in technology and how it can be used to improve business processes and be efficient in the usage of Microsoft tools such as Excel.
Analyze existing sales processes and identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Develop and document streamlined sales processes and methodologies aligned with company and business vertical objectives.
Collaborate with sales leadership and stakeholders to ensure process adoption and alignment across the organization.
This involves defining and mapping out the sales process's various stages, steps, and activities. It includes identifying critical touchpoints with customers, establishing criteria for advancing deals through the pipeline, and creating a clear framework for the sales team to follow.
Evaluate sales tools and systems, including CRM, CPQ and CLM sales automation, and reporting platforms.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless system integration and data flow.
Designing and implementing the right sales tools and systems is crucial for optimizing the sales process. This includes improving and maintaining a customer relationship management (CRM) system, sales automation tools, and other technologies that align with the enterprise's objectives.
Work closely with Sales Enablement and sales operations implementation team to develop training material and resources to support onboarding and ongoing development of the sales team.
Provide guidance and coaching to sales representatives on sales processes, methodologies, and tools.
Leverage sales data and analytics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to drive informed decision-making.
Defining and consulting with other teams on the sales team's approach or framework to engage with prospects and customers.
Proven experience in sales operations, process design, and system implementation and a strong understanding of sales methodologies and best practices.
Experience in territory management and familiarity with sales tools and technologies, such as CRM systems. Familiarity of Oracle Sales Cloud is a plus.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights
Excellent written and spoken communication and strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Can navigate commercial P&L, targeting and reporting
Prior experience in the travel industry or related fields is a plus.
Knowledge of Microsoft Tools (Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PowerBI.
