Senior Account Manager - Health/Pharma Agency This is a fully-remote role with 1 day of travel per month to the South West, England We are currently looking for a well-established Senior Account Manager, with a strong background in health, pharma and medical marketing agencies to lead a client account, or set of accounts, focusing on helping develop the accounts further, keeping them highly profitable and growing. This is a hands-on role, where you will take responsibility for the delivery of high-quality creative work that meets client’s needs and addresses their business problems. Accountabilities: * Operationally head up your client account(s), in the health and pharma sectors, directing and developing them in a way that grows both their creative and financial worth to the agency. * Lead your direct and wider agency team to deliver projects on time, on budget and to the highest of standards. * Build strong relationships with your clients so that you are working with trust and mutual respect and building true advocacy. * Manage your projects within the agency effectively, ensuring there are clear timelines, budgets and the correct amount of resource booked in. * Provide accurate briefs with clear deliverables for the cross agency team, ensuring they have client approval and reflect the agreed scope of work/budget. * Actively seek opportunities to add value to the client business and widen/deepen the agency relationship. Spot cross-sell and up- sell opportunities that are aligned with client objectives. * Proactively manage the project pipeline for your client account(s) and provide accurate in-month financial forecasts on time. * Take responsibility for the commercial aspects of your account(s) including working with the Operations Director to ensure team utilisation, recovery, profitability and growth targets are all met. * Positively contribute to the culture of the health marketing agency and help grow their employee value proposition * Experience with ABPI Code and Veeva. Please note that: * Occasional travel is required. * This is a remote role, but you MUST be UK based (we will not accept applicants from overseas) * Ideally you will be based or willing to commute to South West of England. * Client requirements and their locations mean working hours vary week to week. This is an initial 12-month contract but we do foresee this becoming a permanent role
