Overview
Our Network Control team has an opportunity for you to join as our new Telemetry Configuration Technician. In this exciting role, you’ll build a career focused on our Telemetry estate, learning about and understanding the maintenance and operation of all telemetry‑associated assets and signal data within the Company Systems. You’ll receive excellent training, work closely with site owners and other key stakeholders, and have the support of a brilliant team.
Key Accountabilities
 * Work with internal and external stakeholders to support the commissioning of new telemetry outstations and facilitate any changes required by the business.
 * Contribute to stakeholder activities that build and maintain an effective telemetry‑based organisation, creating collaborative working relationships across the business.
 * Ensure telemetry requests comply with telemetry standards, identifying required changes and approving changes to agreed timescales.
What You’ll Bring
We’re seeking a Telemetry Configuration Technician who is comfortable being in a front‑line team, ensuring service levels are managed both on the help desk and E2E phone line and ServiceNow. Ideally you have previous technical experience and an interest in IT, with knowledge of Power BI/SQL being beneficial. A positive character, mindset and caring attitude are essential.
