Job Description

Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and motivate the local team, encouraging the development of high-performance staff and driving engagement and inclusiveness.
2. Manage the warehouse, inventory, and overall operations with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
3. Implement and maintain a cycle-counting plan throughout the year to ensure inventory accuracy.
4. Coordinate the stock scrapping procedure, ensuring compliance with company policies.
5. Manage the shipping schedule, prioritizing daily tasks to meet customer demands.
6. Regularly review and optimize packaging methods for shipping.
7. Coordinate with the purchasing team to ensure timely ordering of warehouse and shipping consumables.
8. Identify improvement opportunities within processes and plan successful implementation steps.
9. Ensure all warehouse activities are detailed within Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions.
10. Serve as the primary contact for warehouse-related issues and represent the warehouse during internal and external audits.
11. Collaborate closely with the export coordinator department for courier-related operations.
12. Cross-train team members to improve operational flexibility and resource availability.
13. Maintain data integrity within ERP systems, including shipping conditions, packaging, and expiration dates on products.
14. Develop and manage local policies and practices for warehouse management in collaboration with site management and compliance with local regulations.
15. Establish and manage important metrics in the warehouse to monitor and enhance performance.
Qualifications
Experience Required
16. Proven experience in logistics, particularly within warehouse, goods-in, and shipping operations.
17. Demonstrated leadership or supervisory background showcasing the ability to guide and grow a team.
18. Ability to work effectively both in a team environment and independently.
19. Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
20. Flexibility with working hours to meet operational needs.
21. Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills.
Experience Desired
22. Knowledge of IFS ERP systems.
23. Experience with warehouse machinery and equipment.
24. Understanding of import and export shipping documentation.
25. Familiarity with Lean Techniques and Tools.
26. Broader supply chain knowledge to support overall operations.
