We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, energetic and caring Learning Support Assistant to work with pupils who have complex needs. You will need to be able to build up an effective relationship with the pupils and develop in-depth knowledge of them to ensure that you are able to provide a level of support that allows them to fully access their education. You will need to work with the class teacher, Lead LSA and SENCO to adapt planning to suit the specific needs of the children. You will also need to create effective communications with parents, liaising closely with them in support of their child. The ideal candidate will be an individual with a calm and patient manner who is confident in working within a classroom setting, small group setting and 1-1 setting. This post is Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 3:30pm (part-time 32.5 hours per week), term time only. At Holwell School, safeguarding is everybody’s responsibility.
