Head of Application UI Design
Location: Hertford, UK | Salary: Up to £90,000 | Type: Permanent, Full-Time (on-site)
A growing, innovative technology company specialising in retail applications is seeking a senior Head of Application UI Design to lead its UI strategy and delivery. You’ll manage a small design team, working closely with international development teams to create and enhance web, mobile, tablet, iOS, and Android interfaces.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead UI design for existing and new applications.
* Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to deliver user-focused applications.
* Analyse user journeys and design intuitive, visually appealing interfaces.
* Manage complex UI projects from concept to implementation.
Requirements:
* 10+ years’ experience in application UI design across multiple platforms.
* Strong hands-on design and prototyping skills with a graphic design flair.
* Proven ability to deliver exceptional user experiences and manage UI projects.
* Understanding of software development and testing lifecycles.
* Degree in a relevant field and good A-levels.
* Local to Hertford with own transport and willingness to travel internationally.
* English as a first language.
