The Firm
This is a privately owned investment and property business with a significant presence across residential, commercial and mixed-use real estate.
Operating from its London headquarters, the business manages a broad and active property portfolio and is involved in a continual pipeline of acquisitions, disposals and asset management matters. The legal function plays a central role in supporting these transactions, working closely with senior stakeholders and the wider operational team.
The legal team is closely involved in the commercial and strategic side of transactions, giving solicitors direct visibility into how deals are structured, negotiated and executed across the wider business.
The Role
You will take a hands-on role across a broad range of residential and commercial property matters, managing transactions from instruction through to completion.
The work will include acquisitions, disposals, title investigations, due diligence, drafting and negotiating contracts and leases, and supporting wider transactional and post-completion matters. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure transactions progress efficiently while maintaining strong attention to detail and regulatory compliance.
This is a role for someone comfortable managing a busy and varied caseload while remaining commercially aware and solutions-focused. You will have direct involvement with the wider business and play a key role in ensuring property matters are handled proactively and efficiently.
Being office-based, the role also offers close collaboration with decision-makers and immediate involvement in ongoing matters.
The Candidate
* Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 5+ years’ PQE
* Strong background in residential and/or commercial conveyancing
* Experience managing a high-volume transactional caseload independently
* Strong technical understanding of property transactions, title investigations and due diligence
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced and office-based environment
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities effectively
* Based within commutable distance of Battersea
