Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and operations of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of construction. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities are safe, efficient, and well-maintained.
Duties
* Manage and supervise the maintenance team, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
* Oversee facility projects from inception to completion, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
* Oversea planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
* Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
* Develop and implement maintenance schedules for all properties within the portfolio
* Collaborate with other departments to coordinate facility usage and address any operational concerns.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory management.
* Support the wider team in the delivery of all Health & Safety requirements, including, updating risk assessments and ensuring compliance safety certificates are up to date.
* Monitor budgets, produce monthly reports, and track performance against financial and operational targets.
Requirements
* Proven experience in management or supervisory roles within a facilities or maintenance environment.
* Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously.
* Solid construction knowledge .
* Excellent leadership qualities with a focus on team development and performance improvement.
* Proficient in English, both written and verbal, with strong communication skills to interact effectively with staff at all levels.
