7.5 TONNE DRIVER
MONDAY - FRIDAY: START TIMES BETWEEN 06:00 - 08:00
£13.40 PER HOUR
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our well-established client based in Leicester, Leicestershire.
This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay and room to grow and progress.
This role will be ongoing for the right candidate.
Day to Day Duties
* Driving Category C1 vehicles safely and efficiently
* Complete customer deliveries in a timely manner, whilst adhering to health and safety guidelines
* Delivery of products in accordance with the order to the customer
* Unloading and loading goods on pallets / loose
* Make deliveries to residential properties
* Provide excellent customer service skills
* Ensure all loads are safe and secure
Essential Skills
* Hold a valid and clean UK Category C1 Licence
* Have a minimum of twelve months experience driving Category C1 vehicles
* Have a valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card
* Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
* Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
* Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
* Effective communication skills
* Good customer service skills
* Previous multi drop experience
* Time management, route planning, general vehicle knowledge
Desirable Experience
* Over twelve months multi drop experience
* Has worked in a similar fast paced delivery environment
Training
* Industry related training and ongoing support throughout
