A personal assistant works directly with an individual, to support them with their daily life so that they can live it in a way they choose. PA's are usually employed directly by the person that needs care and support, this will usually be managed and paid for through direct payments.
Some roles and responsibilities may include:
* Maintaining relationships with family and friends
* Going out in the community
* Support with hobbies and interests (e.g swimming, baking, shopping)
* Support with household tasks (e.g cooking, cleaning, laundry)
* Booking and attending hospital and other appointments
* Dealing with finances

AIM4 - Ashton-in-Makerfield - 11 hours (DRIVER)
AIM6 - Ashton-in-Makerfield - 6 hours - To be discussed (DRIVER)
BH1 - Beech Hill - 9 hours - Monday to Wednesday, 4pm–7pm (DRIVER unless local)
HIN1 - Hindley - 3 hours - Weekends
HIN4 - Hindley - 1 x PA – 40 hours per week OR 2 x PAs – 20 hours per week each (DRIVER)
HIN8- Hindley - There's 5 hours available – 1 hour every day in the afternoon Mon-Fri (DRIVER)
LI1 - Lower Ince hours - To be discussed (DRIVER)
MB1 - Marus Bridge - 12 hours - Monday, Wednesday & Friday preferred, 9am–1pm (DRIVER unless local)
OR6 - Orrell - 8 hours - Sundays (DRIVER)
PEM30 - Pemberton - 24 hours (DRIVER)
SHEV2 - Shevington - 6 hours - Saturdays, 11am – 5pm (DRIVER)
SHEV5 - Shevington - 5 hours - Fridays, 6pm-11pm
SV1 - Spring View hours - To be discussed
WIN9 - Winstanley - 9 hours - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 3:30pm-6:30pm (DRIVER)
WRI1 - Wrightington - 30 hours - Monday to Friday starting 9/9:30am – 3/3:30pm

Qualifications could include:

* Certification in first aid and CPR

* Strong skills in behavior management and heavy lifting
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
