Main duties of the job

37.5 hrs a week, permanent
Salary Range 5 £29,317 - £35,715 per annum - you will be appointed on a fixed point within the range
You willundertake the day to day management of a team of transport staff, delivering acomprehensive and professional service, ensuring all Health andSafety regulations and Road Traffic legislation are adhered to in relation totransportation and vehicle safety. Youwill co-ordinate the transport operations to satisfy the needs of the customersthrough the efficient usage of the fleet. You will be required to drive vehicles as and when needed.
You must hold a D1 driving entitlement and a level 4 Supervision/Managementqualification or equivalent level of competence. You should have experience of managing, recruiting anddelivering training to staff and ideally have previous experience of working withvulnerable adults with a range of needs. It is also essential that you haveexperience of working within a transport environment, have effective customercare and decision making skills and are competent in the use of Microsoftoffice including Word, Outlook & Excel. A working knowledge ofrelevant legislation is also required.

* Effective IT skills including use of M365 applications, including but not limited to Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word and Teams

Qualifications
