Where you fit in: As our Developer Infrastructure Manager you will lead the water and wastewater teams responsible for delivering exceptional customer experience to large developers, NAVs, and SLPs, external partners who play a pivotal role in infrastructure growth across Yorkshire. You will drive strategic improvements across customer experience, operational efficiency, technical delivery, and commercial performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, consistent service outcomes, and a collaborative partnership model that supports sustainable housing development. This role requires you to build and lead a high-performing operational team with the capability, agility, and insight to meet the evolving needs of large developer/NAV & SLP customers and industry partners. You will shape an operating model that is digitally enabled, transparent, and fully aligned to industry best practice and customer expectations. Collaboration will be central to your success, working with Yorkshire Water colleagues, regulators, and industry bodies (such as OfWat, WaterUK, Local Authorities etc.), you will help deliver the Developer Services Strategy and Transformation Plan, ensuring our service offering meets and exceeds expectations in an evolving and highly regulated environment. What skills & qualifications are we looking for? Educated to degree level/or substantial experience in senior management and leadership roles within complex customer centric environments. In-depth knowledge of the water industry, with a strong preference for experience in Developer Services or regulated customer service environments. Proven experience working in or with Developer Services, infrastructure delivery, or regulated customer-facing environments. Strong understanding of the NAV/SLP/Developer market, with experience managing strategic relationships and performance. Demonstrated success in leading customer-focused transformation in a regulated utility or construction environment. Hands-on experience leading customer experience transformation, digital service enhancements, or process redesign within a regulated utility or similar sector. Strong leadership credentials with a proven track record in managing and developing large, diverse teams. Capable of setting strategic direction, managing performance, and addressing underperformance effectively. Excellent leadership and team management capability, including coaching, performance management, and change leadership. Resourceful and resilient, with a relentless focus on delivering against performance excellence targets. High-level commercial acumen with understanding of cost recovery, infrastructure funding, and pricing, with the ability to apply this knowledge to operational efficiency. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Skilled in stakeholder engagement and influencing at all levels, both internally and externally. Proficient in IT systems and Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to quickly adopt and leverage new technologies.
