The Role
Anglia Ruskin University is growing nationally and internationally and is built on ambition and supportive culture. The School of Allied Health and Social Care is actively delivering courses across allied health professions, science and leadership. In collaboration with local practice partners, the school has recently developed two new apprenticeship programmes – BSc Occupational Therapy and BSc Physiotherapy – due to start in January 2026. Applicants should be passionate about delivering high quality education as part of a supportive and enthusiastic team.
* Deliver high quality teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate occupational therapy courses, including apprenticeship programmes.
* Support curriculum development, assessment and pedagogical innovation.
* Contribute to research and scholarship within the School of Allied Health and Social Care.
* Foster a supportive learning environment for students, ensuring safeguarding and welfare.
* Engage with local practice partners to enhance practical learning opportunities.
Qualifications
* Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent in Occupational Therapy.
* Provable experience in higher education teaching.
* Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of students and staff.
* Experience in curriculum development and apprenticeship programmes desirable.
