Toilet Attendant – Larne
Location: Larne
Pay Grade: £13.26 per hour
Hours: 33 hours per week
Contract: 3‑month temporary contract, with possible extension
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable, proactive, and customer‑focused Toilet Attendant to help maintain high standards within public toilet facilities in Larne. As a key public‑facing member of the team, you will ensure facilities remain clean, safe, well‑stocked, and welcoming for all users.
Key Responsibilities
1. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across public toilet facilities
2. Replenish consumables, including soap, toilet tissue, and hand towels
3. Report maintenance issues, damage, or vandalism promptly
4. Engage courteously and professionally with members of the public
5. Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and procedures
6. Support the wider team in ensuring facilities remain safe and operational
Essential Criteria (Shortlisting Requirements)
7. Basic level of literacy
8. Good communication skills, including the ability to manage difficult or aggressive behaviour from members of the public
9. Clear understanding of the duties associated with the post
10. Awareness of Health & Safety standards in the workplace
Additional Information
11. This is a temporary post for 3 months, with potential for extension
12. Uniform and full training will be provided
13. Applicants must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays if required
