What you’ll do: Carry out scheduled cleaning tasks in designated areas, following all relevant policies and procedures. Maintain consistently high standards of cleanliness across all areas of responsibility. Safely manage and dispose of domestic and clinical waste in line with infection prevention and control guidelines. Replenish consumables such as paper towels, toilet rolls, soap, and other cleaning supplies. Use, store, and maintain cleaning equipment and materials safely and in compliance with COSHH regulations. Perform a range of domestic duties including cleaning sanitary areas and surfaces, bed cleaning, dishwashing, curtain changing, floor care, and waste collection. Respond to ad-hoc cleaning requests and report any maintenance or care concerns to supervisors, ensuring a patient-focused service. Support hospital operations by undertaking additional housekeeping or departmental duties as required by the line manager.
