Your Tasks
1. Operate as a member of the team within the Barony Production Department helping to achieve optimum plant utilisation and efficiency.
2. Contribute an acceptable level of housekeeping in the Department and to maintain a safe, clean and tidy workplace, machinery and site.
3. Undertake a comprehensive training programme to be able to run every aspect of the Production Department within the Grade 3 criteria.
4. Carry out thorough Pre and Post Use Checks checking on machinery condition and surrounding area.
5. Complete shift reports as required and to carry out appropriate shift handovers including any specific production relevant information.
6. Ensure that the production operation and related tasks are conducted in a safe working manner and that any incidents, accidents, hazards and near misses are duly reported.
7. Ensure all safety precautions as detailed in the Health and Safety manual are followed and that safety equipment and PPE is in good order and used at all times.
8. Liaise with the Shift Supervisor as to the condition of the Mechanical/ Electrical equipment, production plant and relating problems.
9. Observe and comply with the Company Quality Systems as detailed in the Quality Manual.
10. Maintain high levels of safety, quality and environmental awareness within the department.
11. Attend any further training as required.
12. Provide absence / holiday cover for other operators when required.
Our Requirements
13. Fork Lift Truck Licence.
14. Basic standard of IT skills
15. Able to work Monday - Friday 06:00am - 14:00pm and 14:00pm - 10:00pm (There will be requirement for holiday cover through the week and occasional weekend shifts to support absences)
