Job Description:
We are seeking a Vehicle Performance Engineer to join our team at the new Silverstone Facility. This role involves leading vehicle performance simulation, analysis, model development, and simulator operations. We encourage innovation and idea-sharing to foster an environment of shared success.
Principal Responsibilities:
* Perform performance, simulation, and vehicle dynamics projects to enhance short-term and long-term vehicle performance.
* Develop and maintain simulation and analysis tools.
* Provide engineering support to Design, Aero, Strategy, and Race Engineering teams.
* Operate simulators effectively.
* Maintain department administration and reporting procedures.
Requirements:
* Strong understanding of physics and mathematics related to high-performance vehicles.
* Experience with Python or MATLAB/Simulink.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Openness to new ideas and innovative approaches.
* Ability to perform duties accurately and efficiently.
* Effective communication skills across departments.
* Proficiency in IT skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
