We're currently recruiting a Transport Administrator to work from our Newbury Operation Centre, at RG19 6HN. Copart UK is an industry leader in the resale and re-marketing of used, wholesale and salvage vehicles through our exclusive online auction platform. With over 10 years of experience in the UK automotive industry, we specialise in selling vehicles on behalf of the insurance sector, fleet, lease and hire companies, trade sellers, financial institutions and the general public. Copart owns and manages a fleet of circa. 300 vehicles which are a combination of transporters and plant machinery along with associated drivers and an operating budget in excess of £27m. Transport Operations account for over 40% of operational spend and 25% of the Copart UK workforce. The Team Our LGV Drivers play a vital part in the handling, collection and delivery of (predominantly accident damaged) cars, vans, LGVs and other vehicles on behalf of insurance and automotive customers to industry leading service levels. The significant majority of these movements are undertaken through a modern fleet of wholly owned, designed salvage transporters and employed drivers, supplemented by a network of sub haul operators. As a Transport Administrator you will report to the Transport Manager and provide administrative support to ensure the efficient running of our busy department within the Operations Centre. What will you be responsible for? Providing support to the wider Operation Centre team with the completion of OS tickets Reviewing all Incident and TAIL forms, ensuring these are forwarded to the correct departments Reviewing the missed collection report and identifying reasons for non-completion Liaising with other areas of the Operation Centre to support with specific collection or delivery issues Assisting with the processing of Transport-related invoices in a timely manner, such as pre-filing Supporting with managing resource in the department, by ensuring our system is updated and correct Support the Transport Manager with reviewing the quality of driver images and providing feedback Assisting with Driver's meetings, ensuring that minutes are up to date and circulated to the team Assisting with internal audits, such as camera audits and to support Operator's Licence and on site regulations compliance. Complete general administrative duties such as scanning, filing and ordering consumables Oversee the day-to-day running of the Transport department in the absence of the Transport Manager with support from the General Manager/AGM. Review the speeding dashboard and footage and to report findings to the Transport Manager.
