Salary: Grade 6, £30,060 - £32,654 pro rata, per annum
Hours: Minimum 14.48 hours (2 days), maximum 37 hours (5 days)
Contract: Fixed Term for 2 years
Denbighshire County Council has a vacancy for a Highways Maintenance Operative to undertake reactive maintenance repairs and respond to emergency incidents within the Highways maintenance team. The role also involves participating in the Winter Maintenance Gritting service.
We welcome applications from experienced operatives as well as those meeting lower grade criteria, as training and support will be provided to reach Grade 5. Starting grade will depend on current qualifications and experience.
Applicants should preferably hold a current LGV Class 2 license and HAUC/Streetworks qualification or be willing to obtain these qualifications.
