We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Paralegal to join our Real Estate Finance team, specialising in Conventional Lending. The role primarily involves dealing with reports on title and processing completions within a close-knit, fast-paced team. This position is ideal for someone who works well under pressure, seeks excellent development opportunities in a collaborative environment, and desires exposure to quality clients.
What you will be doing:
1. Managing your own caseload independently, including drafting enquiries, letters, emails, and other correspondence.
2. Reviewing title and related legal documents.
3. Preparing reports on title.
4. Drafting security documents.
5. Conducting various legal research.
6. Drafting redemption documents such as DS1s and deeds of release.
7. Acting as a role model and supervising junior staff when required.
8. Handling duties related to completions and registration at Companies House and the Land Registry.
9. Communicating professionally with clients and solicitors, maintaining close contact.
10. Previous experience in a Real Estate fee earning role, especially with conventional lending work, is highly desirable.
11. Experience in drafting reports on title.
12. Knowledge of conveyancing and commercial property law.
13. Experience managing a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced commercial property environment.
14. Proficiency with case management systems.
15. Drive, enthusiasm, commitment, and a team-oriented approach.
