Overview
The School of Employability at South Thames College is seeking suitably qualified and experienced Sessional Lecturers to take responsibility for high‑quality delivery of student learning and assessment across a range of specialist units as part of a team of lecturers delivering a Level 4 Higher National Certificate in Sports Event Management for adult learners.

Responsibilities
As a Sessional Lecturer you will deliver units as part of the Level 4 HNC Sports Event Management programme, support a cohort of learners, manage individual learner progress including attendance and punctuality, contribute to the college quality assurance cycle, and work under strict deadlines. You should be a strong communicator, able to communicate effectively at all levels, and able to organise and prioritise work independently.
Lecturers are expected to have a successful record of teaching Level 4 HNC programmes and to have been involved with the delivery of one or more of the specific units listed above.
Schedule
The course will run from September 2026 to July 2027, with classes meeting over two full days per week, 9 am–5 pm (excluding college holidays), face‑to‑face at the Wandsworth campus. A team of sessional lecturers will share the delivery of the units, so you will not be required to teach every week for two days. An agreed timetable will be developed in consultation with the team after appointment.
