Right Now Group are recruiting for a Multimodal Operator to join a well-established and growing freight forwarding company based in Egham. This is a varied, full-cycle operational role handling Air, Ocean, and Road freight movements, with responsibility across both imports and exports. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in freight forwarding, with hands-on knowledge of customs, carrier liaison, and client management. Key Responsibilities - Multimodal Operator Manage end-to-end operations for Air, Ocean, and Road freight shipments, both import and export Liaise with carriers, hauliers, overseas agents, and clients to arrange bookings and ensure timely cargo movement Complete customs entries for inbound and outbound shipments, using systems such as ASM Sequoia/CDS Prepare and manage full shipment documentation including AWBs, bills of lading, invoices, and delivery notes Track and trace shipments, keeping clients and internal teams informed throughout Resolve any shipment issues or delays professionally and efficiently Ensure all files are accurate and closed off correctly with full costing and invoicing Experience & Skills Required - Multimodal Operator Previous experience in freight forwarding, ideally in a multimodal role (Air, Ocean, and/or Road) Strong working knowledge of import/export operations and customs procedures Experience using ASM Sequoia, Boxtop, or similar freight systems is desirable Excellent communication and organisational skills Ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment High attention to detail and commitment to compliance Customer-focused mindset with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders What's On Offer - Multimodal Operator Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience Shift: Monday to Friday Hours: 09:00 - 17:30 Additional Information: Based in Egham, with a supportive team culture and potential for hybrid working following probation If you're an experienced freight operator looking for a varied and rewarding role across multiple modes of transport - apply today.
