Senior Estimator - Telford
What You’ll Do
* Take ownership of the estimating process from initial tender to final submission.
* Lead and support a small team of estimators, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
* Prepare cost plans, Bills of Quantities, and risk assessments for projects up to £30 million.
* Review drawings, specifications, and site information to spot opportunities for efficiency and value engineering.
* Work closely with architects, QSs, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure smooth handover of estimates.
* Influence decisions on construction methods and pricing strategies to maximise commercial advantage.
Who We’re Looking For
* Proven main contractor estimating experience across commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
* Comfortable leading tenders from start to finish and mentoring junior team members.
* Knowledge of JCT Design & Build contracts, with NEC experience a bonus.
* Experience with Causeway or similar estimating software.
* Strong communicator and negotiator who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
