Smart Education is recruiting qualified Primary Teachers (QTS) to work in mainstream and specialist SEND schools in Melton Mowbray. The schools support pupils with a wide range of needs, from typical primary learners to those with special educational needs (SEN), including autism, SEMH, communication difficulties, and complex learning needs. Teachers will deliver lessons in inclusive, nurturing classrooms, helping pupils thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Job Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching pupils in mainstream and/or SEN settings (essential)
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
• Child or Child/Adult DBS (or willingness to obtain)
• Valid passport
• Ability to provide 24 months of employer or academic references
Role Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver lessons tailored to individual and group needs
• Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
• Implement individual learning or behaviour plans where required
• Promote independence, confidence, and positive engagement
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and external specialists
• Maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
