Job Title: Year 4 Class Teacher - Full-Time Location: Birmingham, B20 Contract Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday) Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Start Date: January 2026 Monarch Education is currently recruiting for a confident and experienced Year 4 Class Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the B20 area of Birmingham. This full-time role is to start in January and is ideal for a skilled practitioner who can deliver high-quality teaching and learning in Key Stage 2. Please note: this role is not open to Early Career Teachers (ECTs). Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning, independence, and wellbeing. Assess pupil progress and use data to inform planning and interventions. Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents/carers to ensure every child achieves their full potential. Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and school events. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - not open to ECTs. Proven experience teaching in KS2, ideally in Year 4. Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. A commitment to pupil progress, wellbeing, and inclusive education. Enthusiastic, reflective, and proactive approach to teaching.
