Are you a skilled project officer passionate about equity and inclusion in the energy sector? A leading initiative driving gender balance and leadership diversity is seeking an Interim Project Officer to support the delivery of high-impact campaigns and stakeholder engagement.
About the Initiative
This professional programme works to advance gender diversity and inclusive leadership across the UK energy sector. Its mission: 40% of middle management and leadership roles held by women by 2030. It delivers change through sector-wide challenges, professional development programmes, and practical support for companies embedding inclusive practices.
The initiative maintains strong ties with government and is hosted by a respected professional membership body.
What Youll Be Doing
Working closely with the programmes Head, youll lead and support a range of activities, including:
Coordinating a national alliance of womens energy networks and its annual conference
Supporting coaching events and senior stakeholder engagement
Encouraging energy companies to run internal balance networks and mentoring programmes
Managing website updates, communications, and GDPR-compliant databases
Providing high-quality project support across events, campaigns, and strategic initiatives
What Were Looking For
Proven project management experience and ability to work independently
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Strong organisational, administrative, and IT capabilities (Office 365, CRM, Mailchimp, etc.)
A collaborative mindset and commitment to advancing female leadership in energy
PRINCE II or similar certification is a plus, but not essential
