Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – Stourbridge
Up to £520 per week | Immediate or September Start
Are you a recent graduate with a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?
Thinking about a future in educational psychology, speech and language therapy, or a similar profession?
A welcoming primary school in Stourbridge is looking for a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their committed support team. Whether you’re available straight away or looking for a September start, this full-time role is ideal for gaining valuable experience working closely with pupils who need extra support to thrive.
What’s on Offer:
* Full-time, long-term role (term-time only)
* Earn up to £520 per week
* Monday to Friday | 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
* Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with a range of SEN needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and sensory processing challenges
* Assist with personalised learning plans, working closely with teachers and specialist staff
* Support pupils’ communication, emotional regulation, and social development
* Collaborate with speech & language therapists, occupational therapists, and educational psychologists
What We’re Looking For:
* A graduate (2:1 or above) in Psychology, Education, Health & Social Care, or a related subject
* A genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs
* Excellent communication, patience, and a calm, empathetic approach
* Prior experience in tutoring, mentoring, SEN support, or care settings is highly beneficial
* Resilience and adaptability when supporting children with complex needs
