We are a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Bootle seeking a dedicated Sports Coach to join their team from January 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on children's lives, promoting healthy lifestyles, teamwork, and confidence through sport.

♂️ Role and Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
* Lead engaging sports sessions that promote physical fitness, teamwork, and enjoyment
* Organise and run extracurricular clubs (e.g. football, athletics, dance)
* Support pupils of all abilities, adapting activities to meet individual needs
* Promote positive behaviour and encourage participation in physical activity
* Assist with school sports events, competitions, and inter-school fixtures
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff to support the wider curriculum
* Ensure pupil safety and wellbeing during all physical activities
* Maintain equipment and ensure resources are used safely and effectively

✅ What We’re Looking For:
* Experience working with primary-aged children in a sports or coaching capacity
* A recognised coaching qualification (Level 2 or above preferred)
* A positive role model with excellent communication and organisational skills
* A team player who can work collaboratively with staff and contribute to school life

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
