Specialist Learning Support Assistant - SEN Provision
Location: Specialist School Setting
Hours: 29.25 per week
* Monday: 9:15am - 4:00pm
* Tuesday to Friday: 9:15am - 3:30pm
Role
We are looking for dedicated Specialist Learning Support Assistants to join a nurturing SEN school supporting children and young people aged 4-19 with severe and complex learning difficulties.

Responsibilities
As a Specialist Learning Support Assistant, you will:
* Provide support for pupils in and out of the classroom
* Assist in delivering individual learning plans (IEPs/EHCPs)
* Implement tailored teaching strategies under the guidance of the class teacher
* Offer 1:1 and small group support
* Help with personal care and daily routines, where required
* Encourage social interaction, communication, and emotional development
* Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and external professionals
* Help create a calm, positive, and inclusive learning environment
You will play a key role in ensuring each learner feels safe, supported, and empowered to make progress.
Requirements

* Committed to safeguarding and inclusive education
A Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) is desirable, but motivated candidates willing to work towards a qualification during their probation period are encouraged to apply.
