Your Role in Action
1. Personalized Care: Assist individuals with developmental disabilities with personal hygiene, meal prep, medication, and transportation.
2. Nurturing Environment: Create a warm, safe space that promotes independence, dignity, and respect.
3. Skill Enhancement: Use positive behavior support methods to address challenges and foster skills.
4. Team Synergy: Collaborate with therapists, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.
Your Skills and Talents
1. Education or Experience: Bachelor's degree or 3 years of experience.
2. Driving Credentials: Valid driver's license with at least 1 year of driving experience.
3. Management Experience: Supervisory experience in human services preferred.
4. Interpersonal Skills: Strong empathy and understanding toward individuals from diverse backgrounds.
5. Reliability and Patience: Dependable, compassionate, and patient approach.
6. Adaptability: Flexibility to meet diverse needs and communication styles.
7. Resilience: Ability to adapt to changing environments and unexpected situations.
