These individuals enable HR processes and systems to run smoothly in order to efficiently support our workforce.
Those in human resource operations at PwC will focus on all areas of Human Resources and the business in executing Human Resources related transactions and administrative activities. You will be a primary HR point of contact in the resolution, escalation or routing of inquiries as needed in line with HR protocols and guidelines, as well as be part of a team of problem solvers that help solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.

Job Summary:
This roleoperatesas a Human Capital (HC) Manager within the People Operations area of the wider People Pillar. As part of the People Operations team, this role will lead on Absence, Wellbeing, EmployeeRelationsand People Policy, and will have oversight of other key areas within the employee lifecycle. This role interacts and collaborates with all other HC teams, such as HC Business Partners, Digital, Learning and Development, Talent Acquisition, HC Risk & Quality, and may lead on ad hoc strategic initiatives. Working and collaborating with other internal functions across our business enablement teams is expected.
Responsibilities:
The key focus is on delivering high quality people solutions, in support of the People Strategy, aligned to the business areas and firm business strategy.
1. Delivering on an annual cycle of key initiatives, as well as driving efficiencies by bringing together a strong HC knowledge base, and an innovative mindset.
2. Working with the wider People Operations team to gain broad understanding of the function and leading the team to delivergreat results.
Responsibilities include:
Manage Absence:
3. Manage Sickness Absence monitoring and processing
4. Manage Parental Leave
5. Manage Extended Leave and Remote Working
6. Develop a Wellbeing Strategy in collaboration with Wellbeing committee
7. Input into career coach training
8. Report on Absence in line with the firm’s risk and quality framework
Manage Employee Relations(ER)and Policy:
9. Manage ER processes, ensuring the firmcomplies withlocal legislation as well as its own policies, and aligns with the network and other member firms asrequired.
10. Report on ER in line with the firm’s risk and quality framework
11. Ensure training and upskilling of Leaders to support ER processes
12. Manage the Employment Manual renewal
13. Oversee contractual updates, ensuring the firmremainscompliant

Qualifications & Certifications:
17. CIPD Level5or above (or equivalent).
Skills & Experience Required:
Essential skills:
18. Experience of managing employee relations and case management.
19. Experience in the use and continuous development of HR technologies (e.g. Workday).
20. Experience in coaching and managing coach development.
21. Experience of developing and implementing Wellbeing strategy.
22. Experience managing the employee lifecycle.
23. Ability to handle pressure and manage conflicting demands.
24. A professional and resourceful approach and an ability to build rapport at all levels.
25. Understanding of employment laws and regulations in BCI.
Desirable skills:
26. Experience in development and implementation of HR policy & programmes.
27. Experience ofrelocatingemployees between differentjurisdictions.
28. Experience in designing and delivering learning and development relevant to the role,egcoach training.
Travel Requirements:
Managing across-islandteam, this role may require travel between the islands and may occasionally require further travel.
