& SummaryAt PwC, our people in people operations primarily focus on managing the people lifecycle and the day-to-day operational tasks related to managing employees. This includes activities such as employee onboarding, offboarding, payroll and benefits administration, absence management, employee record-keeping, compliance with labour laws and regulations, and managing employee inquiries and issues. These individuals enable HR processes and systems to run smoothly in order to efficiently support our workforce.

Those in human resource operations at PwC will focus on all areas of Human Resources and the business in executing Human Resources related transactions and administrative activities. You will be a primary HR point of contact in the resolution, escalation or routing of inquiries as needed in line with HR protocols and guidelines, as well as be part of a team of problem solvers that help solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.

Length of Contract: 18 months (October 2025 to April 2027)

Job Summary:

This is a Manager position and operates as a Human Capital (HC) Manager within the People Operations area of the wider People Pillar. As part of the People Operations team, this role will lead on People Systems, Reward and Policy, and will have oversight of other key areas within the employee lifecycle. This role interacts and collaborates with all other HC teams, such as HC Business Partners, Digital, Learning and Development, Talent Acquisition, HC Risk & Quality, and may lead on ad hoc strategic initiatives. Working and collaborating with other internal functions across our Business Enablement teams is expected.

Responsibilities:

The key focus is on delivering high quality people solutions, in support of the People Strategy, aligned to the business areas and firm business strategy.

1. Delivering on an annual cycle of key initiatives, as well as driving efficiencies by bringing together a strong HC knowledge base, and an innovative mindset.

2. Working with the wider People Operations team to gain broad understanding of the function and leading the team to deliver great results.

3. Chair the Remuneration Sub Committee

Support in agreeing and driving forward the reward strategy

Lead on Compensation including Annual Salary Review and implementation, and ad hoc compensation changes

4. Run in scope Employee Engagement surveys, analytics, and action plans

Provide employee analytics

Manage Internal and External Reporting

5. Manage People Policies

Take ownership of the Employment Manual, and lead on regular review

6. Maintain and ensuring the integrity of HC data

7. Ensure alignment with the DPO and team.

8. CIPD Level 5 or above (or equivalent)

Skills & Experience Required:

Essential skills:

9. Experience of data analysis, visualisation & reporting

10. Experience in the managing and continuous development of HR technologies (e.g., Workday)

11. Experience in development and implementation of HR policy & programmes

12. Experience of managing Reward (comp & benefits)

13. Ability to handle pressure and manage conflicting demands

14. A professional and resourceful approach and an ability to build rapport at all levels

Desirable skills:

15. Understanding of employment laws and regulations in BCI

16. Experience in competitor reward analysis & benchmarking

17. Experience in budgeting and forecasting

18. Experience of project management

19. Experience of system implementation and management

20. Experience in data protection and strong data literacy

21. Experience of managing investigations relating to employment issues

22. Experience of managing employee relations and case management

Travel Requirements:

Managing a cross island team, this role may require travel between the islands and may occasionally require further travel.
