Job overview
This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Social Worker to join the Trafford Early Intervention in Psychosis Team based at Crossgate House, Sale. We work with individuals aged 14-35 experiencing a first episode psychosis.
We are a welcoming, dedicated, and experienced team. We offer psychological therapies and psychosocial interventions, with a comprehensive training program. We work closely with service users and families, providing behavioral therapy and family interventions. We value service user involvement and participation in service development.
Main duties of the job
We seek a highly motivated individual passionate about providing evidence-based recovery interventions for people experiencing a first episode psychosis. The post holder will aim to reduce the impact of psychosis, promote active involvement in life, and support personal recovery.

Work hours include:
* Saturday (midnight to midnight) and any weekday after 8 pm and before 6 am
* All time on Sundays and public holidays (midnight to midnight)
Annual leave: 27 days plus bank holidays, increasing to 29 after 5 years and 33 after 10 years.

Qualifications/Education
* Core professional qualification in social work
* Evidence of continued professional development
Experience
* Post-registration clinical experience
* Experience working within a multidisciplinary team
* Understanding of the Care Programme Approach and Mental Health Act 1983, including carers' rights
* Knowledge of risk management, adult safeguarding, mental health needs, and capacity legislation
* Experience working with children, adolescents, and individuals with psychosis
