The role
As a Mechanical, Electrical & Trim (MET) Technician, you’ll play a vital role in the repair journey, ensuring vehicles are restored to a safe, fully‑functioning and high‑quality standard following accident damage.
Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
* Strip, repair and refit mechanical, electrical and trim components
* Diagnose faults and carry out repairs in line with manufacturer methods
* Re‑assemble vehicles accurately, ready for paint and final sign‑off
* Work closely with Panel, Paint and production colleagues to support repair flow
* Maintain safe, tidy working practices and professional standards
This is a role for people who enjoy problem‑solving, variety and responsibility, and who take pride in first‑time‑right repairs.
Qualifications
What matters is that you bring relevant experience in an automotive repair environment and a structured, safety‑focused approach to your work.
That experience may include:
* Experience as a MET Technician, or a strong background as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic looking to move into MET
* A quality‑first mindset and strong attention to detail
