They are a very well known main contractor and have a number large projects across Manchester and the North West. This particular project is detailed below, however they are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager that has worked on large residential projects in a city centre. Project Details: £10m two stage cladding remediation project located in Manchester. The project is more than 13 Storey. The work will be carried out on an occupied building. Work includes: SFS, Rainscreen, Rockwall, Timber, and Brickwork. As the Project Manager your purpose is to manage the whole of the project management process for a single site in the design and build residential sector, being the site team leader to achieve a quality project on time and to cost, with zero harm to people or the environment. Roles and responsibilities of the Project Manager; Taking overall responsibility for the construction project Fostering relationships with the clients, subcontractors, local authority, regulators, and the public Attending weekly and monthly client meetings and prepare progress reports for the client Manage the cost of construction within the budget allowed and variations agreed with the client. Highlight variations from budget for a directors decision. Review the monthly Contract Value Report (CVR) Attend a monthly CVR meeting to explain the position to the Directors Attend Subcontractor procurement meetings with commercial staff.
