Job Description
We are seeking a commercially astute and results-oriented Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead Ludlow Assembly Rooms. Reporting to the Chair of the Board of Trustees, the CEO will be responsible for the overall strategic and operational leadership of the organisation, with a strong focus on ensuring its long-term financial sustainability and efficient business operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic leader with proven business acumen to drive the success and growth of a key community asset.You'll drive revenue generation, optimise operations, and ensure the long-term success of this vital community hub.
While a passion for the arts and an understanding of charity governance is beneficial, previous experience within the arts or charity sector is not essential; we are seeking candidates with strong leadership, commercial, and management expertise.
Job Requirements
Significant experience in senior leadership, a strong track record of successful business management and operational delivery, commitment to the local community
Proven expertise in financial management, including budget development, financial control, and revenue generation
Demonstrable experience in strategic planning and the effective execution of business objectives
Strong commercial acumen and a results-oriented approach
Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
Understanding of legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements for a public facing organisation
Experience of reporting to and working effectively with a Board of
Directors
A proactive, strategic, and entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on achieving sustainable growth
