Job Profile Summary
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Delegated Authority Oversight Department with the effective management of processes designed to support the management of delegated activities performed by Coverholders and Delegated Claims Administrators (DCAs)
Job Description
* Maintain and regularly review the PBQA and due diligence trackers to ensure accuracy and completeness.
* Prepare monthly management information for the Delegated Authority Underwriting Committee (DAUC).
* Develop and maintain the structure of the Delegated Authority SharePoint site to ensure intuitive navigation and accessibility for stakeholders across the business.
* Manage the Delegated Authority central mailbox to ensure prompt and appropriate handling of all communications.
* Support the Head of Bordereaux Services in resolving bordereaux data quality issues.
* Assist with the onboarding and ongoing oversight of Delegated Claims Administrators across both the CSL and CIC platforms, ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with the Delegated Oversight team to ensure process maps are regularly reviewed and accurately maintained.
* Monitor and document changes to existing processes, conducting a quarterly review of the Delegated Framework Policy and Process document to ensure accuracy and alignment with current practices.
* Support the Head of Delegated Oversight Operations and Controls in the execution of Internal Control Framework testing and the preparation of related reports.
* Immediate onwards reporting of breaches to the Head of Delegated Authority Operations and Controls to ensure Lloyd’s Third-Party Material Issues (TPMI) process is followed.
* Support and deliver changes required to oversight as a result of new regulation.
* Support the Delegated Oversight Team with adherence to FCA, PRA, CBI and Lloyd’s requirements for delegated business.
* Support the implementation of technology that enables a smarter/more efficient way of working, in close collaboration with the project team.
* Continuously identify smarter, more efficient ways of working to enable commercial decision making
Regulatory Responsibilities
To the extent directed, support the Group’s responsibility in relation to following:
* Comply with all policies and procedures and ensure that due regard is paid to providing good customer outcomes and the fair treatment of customers.
* Compliance with Lloyd’s Byelaws and Minimum standards
* Compliance with FCA and PRA requirements (UK Regulator)
* Compliance with Central Bank of Ireland (Irish Regulator)
* Ensure that the principles of providing good customer outcomes and the fair treatment of customers are upheld by Agents and Service Providers
Skills and Competencies
* MGA and binder experience, ideally from a Syndicate / Managing Agent / Lloyd’s of London perspective
* Knowledge of Lloyd’s DA regulation with regards to binders
* Insurance knowledge, ideally across multiple lines of business
* Proficient in creating and delivering impactful presentations using tools such as Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
