My client is a Main Car dealership based in Letchworth Garden City. Who are currently looking to recruit a MOT Tester/Prep Technician
What the role will include:
* Ensure the MOT Test Centre conforms to the standards set by the Vehicle Inspectorate
* Undertake MOT’s and re-test, working with in the DVSA framework
* Carry out diagnostics and updates to vehicles, using the latest manufactured diagnostic equipment
* Plan, carry out, check and test all work done to the highest possible standard
* Instruct the parts department of the parts that are necessary for the repair
* Accurately report and record work done and tests carried out and to immediately report any further works required or vehicle faults
* Assist service reception recording recovering, returning and moving customers’ vehicles
Experience, skills and attributes;
* Must have an up-to-date MOT Licence
* A full UK driving licence is essential
* Ability to achieve high productivity and efficiency
* Team player with a positive and can-do attitude
* Self-motivated and customer focused
* Excellent time management to ensure customer lead time scales are met
