Overview
Mechanical Project Manager for a commercial M&E contractor in London & South East. Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 + package. An established and growing building services contractor is looking to appoint a Mechanical Project Manager to support continued growth and help develop its mechanical delivery arm. The business has a strong pipeline of secured work and an excellent reputation on the electrical side of projects, typically delivering schemes ranging from £10k up to £1.5m. As part of the next phase of growth, there is clear scope for the successful individual to help shape and expand the mechanical offering, with mechanical works predominantly delivered via trusted specialist subcontractors.
The Role
This is a commercially led Mechanical PM role with involvement from initial client engagement through to final delivery.
* Attending initial client meetings and site surveys
* Producing estimates, tenders, and pricing for mechanical packages
* Supporting bid submissions and winning new work
* Managing projects through the full lifecycle — pre-construction to handover
* Overseeing mechanical subcontractors and site supervisors
* Coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders
* Maintaining programme, quality, cost control, and client relationships
* Regular office-based work, with visits to live sites as required
This is very much a management and coordination role, rather than a site-based position.
