As our Branding and Campaigns Officer, you’ll be at the heart of our mission to promote active lifestyles and inclusive fitness across the service. You’ll be working in a team of dedicated business development professionals, with responsibility for driving innovation and creativity across our branding and marketing campaigns, as we look to attain targets for our Health and Fitness and Swim lesson memberships, driving attendance and income across the service.

Job purpose
Identity is important for any product or service in today’s competitive market place.
The role will help to create a lasting impression among consumers in order to grow the Active Leeds service and uphold a good brand reputation.
They should be passionate about clean and effective design and creating an identity that stands out.
Uncovering customer insights and delivering innovative and on-brand marketing campaigns will be at the forefront of the role.
The job holder will maintain a polite and professional manner at all time and will work to Active Leeds values.
Responsibilities
12. Ensure ongoing development, evolvement and management of the service brand.
13. Moving the creative development of the brand forward and updating the brand guidelines, ensuring that they are easy to understand and apply.
14. Supporting the Senior Leadership team in managing the service’s marketing, PR and communications functions.
15. Advising on and ensuring consistency across all internal and external branding, including new builds and leisure centre refurbishments, as well as internal marketing assets.
16. Managing the look and feel of the website and mobile app.
17. Helping to drive customer focused development in the mobile app, bringingthe needs and wants of the consumer to fruition.
18. Working with external and internal partners to develop and implement both longer term campaigns and short term promotions
19. Designing professional, effective and motivating stimulus to get the target audience to take action on both major and minor campaigns across different areas of the service.
20. Building digital campaign material and implementing it across social media platforms.
21. Ensure campaigns across different channels (social, web, app, print in centres) are complimentary and consistent with one another.
22. Manage the tracking and measurement of marketing campaigns
23. Monitoring market campaign trends and competitors’ activities to identify opportunities and ways to be competitive
24. Monitoring the application of the brand across the service for accuracy and consistency.
25. Providing guidance and support to officers on all issues regarding branding.
