We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Essex, who are looking to appoint a Housing Officer on a 3-month temporary to permanent contract.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a Housing Officer role and a full UK Driver’s License with access to a vehicle.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
1. Delivering face-to-face tenancy management and support customers throughout their tenancy lifecycle of a patch of roughly 800 properties
2. Conducting property inspections, tenancy audits, and estate visits to ensure standards are met and address issues
3. Managing tenancy changes and enforcement, including legal action for breaches and dealing with complex enquiries
4. Promote community engagement and safety, resolving nuisance behaviour and building strong local relationships
5. Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to deliver excellent customer service and tenancy sustainment
6. Maintaining accurate records and stay informed on relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
Experience required:
