Our client, a global Blue Chip company, are seeking an experienced commercial paralegal to join their high-performing legal team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, supporting the business on a wide range of commercial matters and gaining exposure to complex contract negotiations.
The role:
* Assisting with the drafting, review, and negotiation of a wide range of commercial contracts, including NDAs, supplier agreements, service contracts and power of attorneys.
* Supporting the legal team in managing contract lifecycles, from initial instruction through to execution and renewal.
* Conducting legal research on commercial law, data protection, and regulatory compliance issues relevant to contractual arrangements.
* Assisting in risk assessments related to commercial agreements and advising internal stakeholders on contract terms.
* Liaising with internal departments (e.g., procurement, sales, compliance) and external counsel as necessary on contractual matters.
The ideal candidate:
* Very strong academics
* 1+ years experience as a commercial paralegal
* Experience in drafting NDAs, POAs and procurement
* Excellent communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail
