Location: Hybrid (1 day per week onsite in Yeovil, Thursdays mandatory)
Contract Type: Temporary - 6 Months (Maternity Cover)
Pay Rate: £15.28 per hour (PAYE)
Security Clearance: BPSS only required
Start Date: ASAP
Overview:
My client is seeking a proactive and IT-literate Administrator to provide essential support to a team of Buyers during a maternity cover period. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with systems like SAP and Excel, and who is confident engaging with suppliers over the phone.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the Buying team with administrative tasks
2. Upload documents to purchase orders
3. Extract and work with data from SAP reports (training provided if needed)
4. Communicate directly with suppliers via phone and email
5. Assist with general procurement administration tasks
Requirements:
6. Proficient in Microsoft Excel
7. Comfortable learning and using SAP (training available)
8. Confident communicator - phone skills are essential
9. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage documents accurately
10. Ability to work onsite once per week (Thursdays mandatory, especially during initial training)
11. Preferred working hours: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM or similar
12. BPSS clearance only - no higher-level security clearance required
