What You'll Lead
Head the Reception Experience
* Lead and mentor the reception team to deliver consistently exceptional patient service
* Serve as the primary point of contact, creating outstanding first impressions for new and existing patients
* Manage complex appointment scheduling for multiple clinicians and treatment types
* Handle patient enquiries with professionalism, empathy, and commercial awareness
Drive Administrative Excellence
* Master Software for Excellence (formerly Exact) practice management system or demonstrate ability to learn quickly
* Maintain accurate patient records, treatment schedules, and administrative databases
* Process patient payments, insurance claims, and financial arrangements with precision
* Coordinate seamlessly with clinical and treatment coordination teams
Optimise Practice Operations
* Implement and maintain efficient reception procedures and protocols
* Support practice growth through excellent patient retention and referral generation
* Manage reception supplies, resources, and day-to-day operational requirements
* Provide administrative support to Practice Manager and clinical teams as needed
The Ideal Candidate
Essential Requirements:
* Proven reception or administrative experience in healthcare, dental, or premium service environments
* Exceptional organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
* Outstanding communication abilities – articulate, professional, and naturally personable
* Leadership potential with experience mentoring or managing small teams
* Technical aptitude – comfortable with Software for Excellence or ability to learn dental practice software quickly

* Previous experience with Software for Excellence (formerly Exact)
* Background in private healthcare or dental practice administration
* Experience in team leadership or supervisory roles
* Knowledge of dental insurance and payment processing
