Salary: £40,000 - 60,000 per year Requirements: We require proven experience as a Backend Developer, with at least 5 years in the industry. We require strong expertise in PHP, MySQL, and MVC frameworks, ideally with Magento 2 experience. We require familiarity with other eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, BigCommerce, Laravel, WordPress, and Shopware. We require proficiency with Git or other version control systems. We require a solid understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. We require experience with RESTful APIs and web services. We require strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team. We require excellent written and verbal communication skills. Magento Developer Certification is desirable. Experience with other languages such as Python, Ruby, or Java is desirable. Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools such as Jira or Teamwork is desirable. We develop customised features, extensions, and integrations across platforms, with a primary focus on Magento. We ensure the performance, stability, and security of our clients websites. We participate in code and architecture reviews, offering constructive feedback and improvements. We communicate effectively with team members and clients, providing technical guidance and support when needed. We keep up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to keep our solutions innovative and competitive.
