SEND Teacher Wanted for Specialist School in Manchester
We’re searching for an experienced SEND Teacher to join our dedicated team at a specialist school in Manchester. If you have a background in working with students who have Complex Needs, Medical Needs, SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) Needs, or SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties), this is your chance to make a meaningful impact. What you’ll be doing:

Planning and teaching lessons tailored to each student’s unique needs.
*
Creating a welcoming, safe classroom where students feel supported.
*
Collaborating with teaching assistants, therapists, and other staff to meet individual goals.
*
Using positive behaviour strategies to engage and motivate students.
*
Tracking student progress and sharing updates with the team and families.
*
Supporting students during activities like breaks or therapy sessions.
*
Following safeguarding and emergency procedures to keep everyone safe.

Keeping student information confidential.
Who we’re looking for:

A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with experience in Complex Needs, Medical Needs, SEMH Needs, or SLD.
*
Someone patient, creative, and skilled at building trust with students.
*
Confident in adapting lessons for a range of abilities and needs.
*
A team player who enjoys working with colleagues to support students.
*
Committed to safeguarding and promoting student well-being.
