Role Overview
We are currently looking for a Document Controller to join a leading Biopharmaceutical company based in the Hertfordshire area. As the Document Controller you will become an integral part of ensuring that technical documents are managed with the utmost precision, adhering to the stringent standards of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Your duties as the Document Controller will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. You will have the chance to support the Head of QA GxP Compliance and the Documentation Control Manager, providing administrative prowess that underpins the quality systems evolution.
2. The Document Controller will maintain contact with personnel at all levels to ensure that documents are prepared accurately and expedited in a controlled and timely manner.
3. You will be responsible for the issuance of unique identifications for controlled documents and maintenance of the identification system as well as issuance of batch manufacturing records.
4. It will be crucial to support delivery of site and departmental objectives, contribute to the continuous improvement of the department and support revisions to all aspects of the quality system as required.
Role Requirements
To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Document Controller we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in a scientific discipline.
2. Proven industry experience in a similar role is ideal.
