Senior Engineer Audio & Video Processing Purpose Lead the design, development, implementation, and optimisation of audio and video systems across both legacy and cloud-based environments. Ensure high performance, reliability, and innovation in all A/V processing infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Design, deploy, and support Audio & Video processing systems for broadcast and satellite communications. Install, test, and troubleshoot A/V solutions to maximise performance and availability. Act as Design Authority for A/V processing, ensuring end-to-end solution integrity. Drive standardisation and seamless integration of new technologies into existing infrastructure. Lead and mentor engineers, providing technical guidance and acting as an escalation point for complex issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Network Engineering, and Operations to deliver robust and scalable A/V solutions. Manage third-party suppliers to ensure adherence to specifications, standards, and timelines. Support migration and integration projects for both on-premise and cloud-based systems. Stay current with industry trends, recommending improvements and innovations. Contribute to accurate forecasting, capacity planning, and continuous improvement initiatives. Skills & Expertise Strong knowledge of audio and video processing principles and industry standards. Proficiency in encoding, multiplexing, and diagnostic tools. Experience with virtualisation and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Experience managing multiple technical projects or workstreams. Experience & Qualifications Proven track record in Audio & Video processing engineering and system integration. Hands-on experience with cloud technologies and virtualised A/V solutions. Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience preferred.
